No Country for Old Men wins Four Oscars
Last night at the 80th annual Academy awards the Coen's latest effort brought home 4 golden statues. Anton Chigurh himself, Javier Bardem, took home the best supporting actor award. The rest went to Joel and Ethan for Adpated Screenplay from Cormac McCarthy's amazing novel, Best Direction, and Best Picture.
Joel did most of the talking in their first two acceptance speeches, with Scott Rudin doing to the thanking for the Best Picture win.

Wow ! We got it !
This was the worst movie I've EVER seen. I am not hard on movies, I don't mind violence. This movie is just devoid of any intelligence or any actual story. Wasted 2 hours.
I kinda agree with nigel but I think he was being nice.
This movie showed plenty of intelligence. It showed that the coen bros have plenty of smarts and know how to show off to the critics and cronies of the movie industry. What it doesn't show is any consideration of the movie loving public.
There was very little to like about this movie. There was no "denoument" to speak of and no resolution of any conflict. Call me old fashion but I, for one, want to know what happened when I go to see a movie.
The "industry" may congratulate the coen's for this effort, maybe they think being bizarre for its own sake is cool and should be rewarded. I see it as egotistical and shallow. I say "Fuck You Coen's you failed me" this movie is incomplete and a cop out. You wasted my time and money.
You lost me with this one and I'll be very wary of trusting you again.
